Dimensions on a 3 phase core

There are a number of core options that are user selectable using our Unicore Control Software

All options are not available for all core faces. Many options would not make sense. AEM Cores Unicore Control Software, makes it easy to design a core as it will only present those options that are relevant to the core face you have selected to make. 

A UNICORE machine offers the following core options

  • Window Length and Width, Build, and Strip thickness in 0.1mm increments
  • 30 / 45 / 90 degree corner angles
  • Former / No former
  • Outer lamination TIG / End Overlap / Shell / Core / None
  • Diverge GapOn/Off
  • Cuts in the Window length or Window width
  • Bobbin Indent
  • Start Position
  • Strip Thickness
  • Inner/Outer different strip thickness
  • Laminations per overlam (DUO DGAP and ELAP only)
  • Different strip thickness for inner / ouer cores (3 phase only)
  • Insertion helper strips - used as an assembly aid on some faces
  • Initial CNR
  • EndLamOLAP End lamination overlap length
  • Spacer
