Low loss cores lead to better economics for every one in today's energy conscious world.

Low core losses come from good core design AND construction. Traditional core manufacturing techniques, implemented in a quality conscious fashion will lead to the construction of a good core.

The quality of the core and thus the amount of no-load and loaded loss is determined by

  • the quality of the materials
  • the quality of the lamination fit
  • the quality of the assembly of the core

In countries where recycled materials are manually mitered and sheared, and ground, the human factor introduced by the use of hand tools alone leads to a large variation in core quality from core to core. This increases losses unnecessarily.
