To test a core on the Mk I test bench the operator

places a core on the test bench, by hand for smaller cores and using a lifting device for larger cores.

The operator then

  • enters the inner and outer diameters
  • enters the strip width of the core in the input fields
  • clicks on the start button.

In this screen shot you can see the Mk I operator screen.

The Inner and Outer core diameters, and strip width have been input and the test is under way.

 

Test Start

 This screen shot shows the test completed and the core has passed.

This is indicated by the column of green status lights indicating that the core has passed it's acceptance test.

Notice the Core Number in the middle of the screen. Yes - thats over 112,000 core tests performed by this test bench. ALl that core performance data is stored in our Core Test database for future reference.
